I-War (Independence War) Full Campaign 4K (with remastered intro)

My homage to the best, most complicated, Space Combat Simulator ever! It's not without it's faults though, and I couldn't have beaten it without the PRIMA strategy guide (ISBN: 7615-1817-7) because the scripting is so tight it's almost an interactive movie. It's frustrating because scripts often break, such as the last mission where you need to be damaged by random chance - but only slightly! This is the "good" path where you save the SecPat alliance and chase down the President, without committing a war crime by blowing up a hospital ship. I don't claim to have the best scores and times, in case you feel competitive. Just completing this is it's own reward! Here's how to get the best experience: Buy and install from GOG (the Steam version allegedly has more issues) Create a shortcut to the .exe and add "-b -16 -800x600" to the "target". You will have something like D:\Games\GOG Games\Independence War Deluxe\IWar.exe" -b -16 -800x600 Do not use nglide which is installed with the game, and install dgvoodoo to the I-war folder. Make sure aspect ratio is set to 4:3. 16:9 looks terrible and 4:3 doesn't matter on todays massive monitors. You must limit the FPS to 30 otherwise your PBC cannons will not cause any damage (i's a bug). In dgvoodoo control panel, click "enumerate refresh rates" then change the Glide resolution to "2880x2160, 30Hz". Make sure you add ", 30Hz" to the end.
