For those who wants to rememorate this hockey game that was NHL Powerplay '96 developed by Radical Entertainment Inc., but published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Inc. in 1996. It is to be noted that NHL Powerplay '96 got low sales mainly because they misnamed the game a lot dismissed it thinking it was outdated at its release. It should have been called NHL Powerplay '97 due the roster for the season 1996-1997 like any other sports series, but they decided for unknown (probably by lack of experience in sports naming scheme) to name it '96.
