This feature includes SNOW/DIRTY DIRT AND DEEP SNOW/MUD settings that optimize AWD performance in difficult road or weather conditions. Powered by a 260-hp 2.4-litre SUBARU BOXER turbo engine, the Ascent comes standard with the high-torque Lineartronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with an 8-speed manual mode and paddle shifters steering wheel gearshifts that allow the driver to shift gears manually.
