FLASH TRAFFIC - CITY OF ANGELS (PC DOS) (1994) - Longplay (uncommented)

FLASH TRAFFIC - CITY OF ANGELS is a full motion video adventure by Tsunami and Time Warner Interactive released in 1994 for PC MS-DOS and Windows. As a member of the FBI, you have to stop a group of terrorists from igniting a nuclear bomb in the center of Los Angeles. At specific points in the game, the plot stops for the player to decide the further progress of the story by selecting a possible action from a multiple choice menu. The biggest problem of FLASH TRAFFIC's gameplay stems from the fact that many of these choices lead to illogical and unforseeable outcomes, most of the time resulting in the immediate death of the player. The plot often becomes implausible and impossible to follow. It is also possible that you can get stuck in seemingly endless loops during the interrogation of suspects - and it's frustrating to no end. As far as I know, there is only one way to finish the game sucessfully. All other story arcs are red herrings and lead to the demise of the player. You will not encounter some of the game's characters (such as the Korean Kim) if you choose the correct path through the game. This longplay is a no death playthrough of the MS-DOS version that is known for its horrendous video quality. Tsunami also released a very rare Windows version with much better video quality. However, this one refuses to run without a Sigma ReelMagic MPEG card (think of it as an acceleration and decoder card for MPEG video formats). I have also recorded a German Let's Play of this game a few years ago:    • FLASH TRAFFIC - CITY OF ANGELS - Let's Pla...   #FlashTraffic #CityOfAngels #Tsunami #FlashTrafficCityOfAngels #FMV #FullMotionVideo #InteractiveMovie #PCMSDOS #RetroGaming #RetroGame #Walkthrough #Playthrough #Gameplay
