Sega CD : Psychic Detective Series Vol.4 - Orgel (JPN)
Psychic Detective Series Vol.4: Orgel (サイキックディテクティヴ シリーズ VOL.4 オルゴール) is an adventure game that developed and published by Data West back in 1993. The Sega Mega CD release was exclusive for the Japanese market. It was a multi-release (PCE-CD, PC-98, DOS., FM-TOWNS, Windows). You are Katsuya Furuyagi, a private investigator who has the unique ability to read the minds of people (psychic). One day, a mysterious woman appears and has the most strange job request. She needs from Katsuya to find her stolen doll which it's owned by her family for centuries. The weirdest part is that, she believes (owner) that the thief is a devil entity. Furuyagi accepts the job challenge. Orgel is an old school, Japanese style adventure game where the player navigates through text menus, and has conversations with characters in order to unlock the next parts of the story. It plays and feels more like a visual novel/simulation. There is no puzzle solving and the gameplay is straight forward as your main goal is to collect infos (through conversations). If you like these type of games then you will defintely have some fun ~ especially if you are into paranormal theme games. It's not an import friendly game.
