Buzz Aldrin's Race into Space is a management simulation game developed by Strategic Visions and published by Interplay Productions in 1993. In this game you'll be able to choose between the United States and the Soviet Union, and you'll have to lead your country's space program to the Moon before your opponent does. To remain historically accurate, the developers consulted Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who also allowed the use of his name. In 2005, the developers released the source code under the terms of the General Public License, and the game data as freeware. Since then it has been ported to modern systems under the name Race into Space.
