Apocalyptic Uzbek Animation - "There Will Come Soft Rains" (Будет Ласковый Доджь)

Based off a short-story by Ray Bradbury, this cautionary tale from Soviet-era Uzbekistan tells the story of a robotic house in the future that continues to care for its inhabitants after a nuclear war. Incredibly disturbing, all the more so because of its Cold War background. Directed by Dmitri Ivanov for Uzbekfilm studio in 1984. Russian with English subtitles.
