Treasure Adventure Game any% speedrun in 1:35:17

Treasure Adventure Game is my second "childhood metroidvania™" that I have very fond memories of. It's a really great game too, so if you haven't played it, I'd definitely recommend doing it before watching this speedrun – it's completely free!
This game isn't very popular to speedrun, it doesn't have a speedrun.com page and I've only found two speedruns of it on Youtube, both on the 100%+ category. But that doesn't mean there haven't been dedicated people trying to find skips and strategies all around the game to get the any% time as low as possible. One of these people is Frank West, who has made a very detailed any% route walkthrough full of amazing skips and subtle strategies:    • Treasure Adventure Game speedrun - any% ro...   If it wasn't for this video, I doubt I would have the courage to go for this massive speedrun, and even if I did, it would sure be A LOT slower. All of the routing and like 95% of the skips and strategies are from him, and if you'd like an explanaition of them, go watch his video. But still, I did find a few new strategies myself. I'll later list and explain them below. As for the run itself, it isn't very good. I was aiming for sub :35 but just barely didn't make it, mostly because of a few rather big time losses. But seeing how long the run is and how easy it is to mess up something, I would say that all in all I'm moderately satisfied with it. Another reason is that it's been a bit exhausting to go for this long of a speedrun, which also has a point around 20 minutes where, if you get unlucky and/or mess something up a bit, you essentially have to restart. So although this speedrun isn't the best, I'd say it still isn't too bad for the first any% run of this game on Youtube.
