Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder - Mission 01 - Watchful Yeoman

It's been too long, I'm returning to finish what I started! Time to finish the Ghost Recon: Island Thunder campaign, only using the same initial characters with no saves. No other soldiers can be introduced from the roster, with the exception of unlocked Specialist. A KIA is permanent! GHOST PLATOON (From the start) Alpha squad Wayne Hill - DEMO Ed Long - SNIPER Bravo squad Omar Guerrero - RIFLEMAN Jorge Martinez - DEMO No quick saves or loads will be used. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CASUALTIES/WOUNDED SO FAR Omar Guerrero - RIFLEMAN [KIA - Mission 01] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MISSION 01 – WATCHFUL YEOMAN OBJECTIVES 1. Seize Plantation Grounds 2. Secure First Package 3. Secure Second Package X. No Team Casualties OVERVIEW So back to it after almost a year. Mission was going well at the start, but unfortunalty the AI controlled Omar was hit and did not return fire as we opened up on two tangos just after retrieving package #2. Bit of a shame. This mission is tense and quite difficult, the fog makes it hard to see enemies and you can be taken out from quite a distance. I did have to use the AT to clear some rooms, as sometimes these require split-second reactions when clearing normally. I seem to always lose teammates in the first mission. Hopefully things get better from here...
