Race onboard footage of Richard Wilson on the WizNorton Racing rotary Norton during the 2016 Superbike Classic TT After two strong opening laps in excess of 114mph, and a fastest lap of 114.836mph coming into the pits, Richard was in 17th position overall and within 14 seconds of the top privateer position Unfortunately the chain had become slack and needed tightening during the pitstop, and the scrutineers were not happy with the amount of oil coming from the bike. This, plus a 30 second penalty for speeding in the pitlane by 1.4kph meant that we had lost over a minute and forty seconds and were in 25th position by the end of lap three Richard was able to recover some places, and following the exclusion of a number of machines during post race technical inspection, we finished in 19th position and won a silver replica While we are left wondering what might of been with a quicker pitstop, we are still thrilled to get another silver replica, our fastest laps and finish the toughest and most famous motorcycle race on a 25 year old machine
