Harvest Moon More Friends Of Mineral Town : Stocking Festival (How to get a sock)

I always get a Mystrile. . All images are copyrighted to Natsume. How to get the sock : Be friends with Ellen, the old lady in the rocking chair (Elli's grandma). Give her things she loves like hot milk (pot + any sized milk). You know when she likes something when she says "Thank you. You made my day, dear." Even when you become friends with her, her dialogue doesn't change. The only way to know if she's your friend is that you can enter her house before 10AM, I believe. Once you're her friend, in the winter before the stocking festival go to her house around 10AM (I triggered the event a few minutes after 10) and give her any sized yarn. Once you give her the yarn an event will be triggered and Ellen will knit you a sock "in lightning speed" and have Stu hang it up in your house. :) You can participate in the stocking festival by going to bed between 9PM - Midnight on winter 24. (Harvest Moon's version of Christmas?)
