Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy | A Cyberpunk Adventure |1080p60| Longplay Full Game Walkthrough

Full game longplay of a 1998 cyberpunk adventure game, Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy. Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy is a cyberpunk-themed adventure game developed by Trecision, published by Team17 and distributed by MicroProse in Europe and DreamCatcher Interactive in North America. It was later ported to the Amiga by ClickBOOM. #cyberpunk #cyberpunk2077 #cyberpunkadventure #pointnclick #retro #adventuregames Thanks for watching and reading, and if you liked the game/walkthrough, do consider hitting that Like button and maybe even subscribing to my channel for more retro/xbox content! The game takes place in the futuristic Union City in the year 2099. The player assumes the role of an investigator named Joshua Reev. His long-time friend, Hugh Martens (who is now in charge of the city), summons him to help him with a matter of major political importance. It seems that a group of terrorists are threatening the city, and Martens' reporter friend Simon Ruby (who was investigating) has vanished. Martens has called on Reev to investigate. Ah yes, it's exactly this game, the one that requires you to complete a fucking mathematical operation as the last puzzle that you need to finish the game. But it's got a cyberpunk spirit in it, and considering rather poor and disappointing Cyberpunk 2077 showing lately, I believe it's a fair game to take a look at a very obscure, forgotten cyberpunk-themed adventure game! It inherits a lot of typical "point'n'click' bullshit, where you hunt for pixels and the puzzles sometimes don't make any logical sense, so you don't even try those silly solutions because of it! It's always interesting to observe what the people in XX century thought a dystopian future would look like, they always inherit electronics from their respective eras, like a FAX machine, and pseudo mobile phone that can video call, in 2099. And you know what, I actually loved it! Provided... I got through only thanks to a walkthrough from 2005/2006 or so. This would be a pain in the ass to get through on my own. ESPECIALLY THE EXACT LAST PUZZLE, THE MATHS. Imagine me taking out a freaking piece of paper for calculations. Welp, those kind of things, truly do belong in XX century adventure games. I'd rate it pretty well, considering when it came out. 8/10. Well made adventure.
