Flower, Sun, and Rain (DS) - Escape Hotel Premises Speed Run in
After putting a ton of time into Killer7, I decided to have a little "vacation" with Flower, Sun, and Rain, appropriately enough. As part of that vacation, I did a few runs of both the DS version (on emulator) and PS2 version (on console). I ran the partial-game Escape Hotel Premises category, which ends after leaving the hotel gate in Request 07, roughly 40% of the way through the game or so. After two weeks of attempts, alternating between versions, I got two PBs on DS ( • Flower, Sun, and Rain (DS) - Escape H... , • Flower, Sun, and Rain (DS) - Escape H... _). As a finale of sorts for this vacation, I decided to finish it off by running both DS and PS2 runs back-to-back in the same sitting. Amazingly, both runs were personal bests, even all gold splits, ending everything on a wonderfully high note. Here's the VOD to the full stream of both runs together: / 1483128214 DS is a little weird to run (and in general) compared to PS2, but it's a serviceable enough port and a serviceable enough speed run.
