Interactive Kaleidoscope

This video describes a physical user interface for an interactive kaleidoscope to enhance the experience of the user while viewing generative art and other prerecorded visual content. The focus of the project is to discuss the concept of designing such an artifact, reporting the design process and reflecting on the perception of this artifact by the users. The visuals being used for this artifact consist of generative art and a collection of videos gathered from video streaming websites which are suited to create interesting kaleidoscopic patterns. As a result, the users can enjoy interactive videos and have some control over the content they are viewing.
