To Heart 2: Dungeon Travelers (PSP) - Angra Mainyu

The hardest fight in the series by far. Everything else is not even comparable. Very long, truly brutal. It feels like a wipe could happen at any moment, even at max level and with the best gear. Very hard hitting attacks, with constant AoE stun and sleep, and very little time to recover. JK is mandatory by class door. MI is mandatory because of Mazurka. I wasn't quite sure what to bring for the other two options. I wanted to bring SA, SG, and KN. Without SA the damage output was very low and I worried about how long the fight would take, but also SG and KN's support was very important. This is what I went with, but I don't know if it was the best choice. A very serious issue is the constant use of AoE sleep and stun. The boss stops using the AoE stun after lowering its health a bit, but until then, if anyone important, especially MI, gets stunned, it is very difficult or impossible to recover. If MI falls asleep, the fight is over. Therefore I tried raising MI's elemental resistances as much as reasonably possible, while giving her a sleep immunity sealbook and just hoping the stuns didn't land. A consideration was giving her 迦具夜比売の羽衣, but then SG had to use a very slow weapon and a sealbook with lower AGI to gain immunity to both, which made her so slow that essential spells like Circle Protect were no longer instant. I might try this fight again later with a different party composition, hopefully one that makes it easier. And of course, I will be playing the PC version when it comes out.
