Legena (Demo)

Here we have a demo for a game that is almost finished with its Kickstarter period. The good news is that while I was recording this, it managed to achieve its funding goal. Still, since I know some of my subs are JRPG aficionados, this one may be something you're interested in. As you can tell, the devs are going for a retro appearance for the game, matching the likes of some of the SNES classics. The battle system is turn based with a weather system that impacts the spells that can be used, increasing the strategic element to the game. I wanted to try using the weather system on the boss, but it appears it was not meant to be. Still, Martic is able to deal a lot of damage even if one water spell will down him. I don't know if the devs wanted to throw a ringer at you in the demo or if the rest of the battles in the game will be like that. Something to look forward to, I guess. I don't know how customize-able the characters will be or how deep the magic system will be, but I decided to back it, and assuming some of the things I talked about in the update do not come to pass, this may be making its appearance on the channel around this time next year.
