This is my unboxing of a German copy of Trackmania United, released on February 23, 2007 in Germany. The game itself was released on November 17, 2006 online. In France & Russia the game was released on December 22, 2006. The rest of Europe: March 9, 2007. Worldwide release was March 23, 2007. North America launch was June 11, 2007. Background music is the Trackmania United menu music by Doo. At one part of the video I reference the slogan on the T-Shirt as saying "Gold is for girls!", and I say that it's kind of misogynistic. I should explain why I think that. The Green medal on the T-Shirt is the medal above the Gold. It's the Author Medal. That, along with the slogan, seems to suggest that if you can't get an Author Medal, then you're "playing like a girl" because you're only able to get the Gold medal. Girls can play TM just as well as boys, so this slogan seems to be misogynistic. Then again, maybe I'm misunderstanding it and the message is intended to be taken differently.
