Лёгкий нейкед-байк Kawasaki Z250, строго говоря, не имеет ничего общего с другими мотоциклами знаменитой Z-серии, кроме некоей внешней стилизации. Да и предназначен этот байк, впервые увидевший свет в 2013 году, для азиатских стран, но благодаря торгующим б/у мотоциклами салонам приобрести его можно и у нас. Ознакомившись с мотоциклом, можно сделать вывод, что он неплохо подойдёт в качестве первого двухколёсного друга для начинающего мотоциклиста, или просто в качестве байка для города. К сильным сторонам Kawasaki Z250 можно отнести его дизайн, действительно очень напоминающий такие модели, как Kawasaki Z800 и Z1. Общий агрессивный облик нейкида как бы намекает, что он не прочь и немного похулиганить, правда, 250-кубового моторчика для агрессивной езды явно маловато, да и весит мотоцикл из-за достаточно бюджетной и потому максимально простой конструкции немало. Сухая масса более 150 кг для городской «чекушки» — согласитесь, это прилично. Моторчик, правда, получился на славу, и благодаря ему мотоцикл вполне в состоянии потягаться с Suzuki GSR 250, своим прямым конкурентом в классе, или с Honda VTR 250. Рядная двойка жидкостного охлаждения способна выдать 32 л.с. и 21 нМ крутящего момента, правда, «крутить» движок придётся нещадно. Пик мощности достигается только на отметке в 11 тысяч оборотов, пик момента — на отметке в 8,5 тысяч оборотов. Как следствие, с «низами» у Kawasaki Z250 негусто, но шестиступенчатая трансмиссия с короткими первыми передачами сглаживает это впечатление. Всего же Z250 способен разогнаться до 160 км/ч.
