RETROBOOSTER - SF Indie Game Day: gameplay & commentary

Last week in San Francisco, a showcase of indie gaming talent was laid on for the benefit of local media. Many of the titles shown were from teams in the Bay Area, RETROBOOSTER being from the one man band of Terry Welsh. Terry has worked in ultra serious simulator work prior to before an indie dev (Retrobooster is his debut game), having worked at NASA's Ames Research Center, down in Silicon Valley's Mountain View neighborhood. Being a fan of the broadly ignored "cave shooter" genre, that included titles like OIDS, SOLAR JETMAN and arcade classic GRAVITAR, Terry took it upon himself to create a new entry, only one that felt in part more like a "bullet hell" shooter. Due later this year on PC & Linux, the final version will offer both a split screen co-op mode as well as a deathmatch option. However those keen to check out a limited demo build right now and get hands on, can indeed download it from:
Terry is also more than open to feedback from those who do and can be gladly pestered on Twitter as: @TerryMWelsh
