Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine - Sega CD (1994)

I always wondered what this game was, because the name was just...head scratching. Is it a space game? Is it a 90s hacking themed game? An adult game with a big ego? Space truckers. As a rail shooter. Huh., The controls are weird, by the way. The game offers no visuals when you fire a weapon, so early on I was wondering if I just misunderstood the controls. A does...something. Nothing yet, but something at some point. B throws a shield up in what basically amounts to a laser parry since you have to use the shield to deflect a projectile. C shoots, but you don't shoot lasers. Instead, the evil drones explode when you get a direct hit and that is your only feedback.
