В разгара на Студената война, изолирана тогава България е изправена пред опасност отвън - първите случаи на ХИВ/СПИН. Управляващата еднолично страната партия се опитва, но не успява да спре новото заболяване, което вече е стъписало и озадачило най-добрите учени по света. В този филм български лекари, които са на първа линия по онова време, си спомнят днес за тогавашните си усилия. Ще чуем и някои от първите жертви на ХИВ в България. The Communist regime tried and failed to cope with a new disease that had already horrified and mystified the best scientists around the world. In this video, Bulgarian doctors on the front line in those days look back at how they coped, and, in archive from the time, we hear from some of the first victims of HIV in Bulgaria.
