Demoniaca: Everlasting Night - 100% Trophies Playthrough
An 'interesting' take on a Metroidvania. It tries to blend in fighting game elements for the player character, while keeping everything else in the vein of the standard Metroidvania. I do feel that there were too many fighting game elements incorporated that just don't work too well in this genre (long hitstun, knockdown on every aerial hit) and make for a clunky experience overall. Wall jumping can also be a pain as you're stuck at one trajectory. Plat trophy requires at minimum just going through half of the game. The top priority will be getting Double Jump from the second major boss. Once you have that, you can backtrack to previous areas to get chests, which you'll need 50 of. Everything else should come along the way, except for 6000 jumps (why?). You can grind them out by jumping in one place or just going through the rest of the game while jumping at every opportunity. I recommend avoiding most enemies and only focus on killing ones that aren't a pain to fight, as it's really easy to get stunlocked and tossed around repeatedly. Get the Brilliant Pill in the Core area and farm in the Library to have an easier time leveling up. 23:14 - Wurm Boss 34:22 - Brilliant Pill 39:05 - Grind spot in Library 59:10 - Primal Boss (Get double jump)
