PS2 - Shadow Hearts Walkthrough Part 7: Town Cleaning and Boat Rides
RetroPlay: Video Game Walkthroughs Shadow Hearts by: OmegaSion The party heads down to the docks to stop the monsters from being summoned, and then leave by boat toward Shanghai... though Yuri may not survive the trip... A tip about the boss in Dalian; Even though it's named Yamaraja: Wind, it is actually Earth Element, which you can tell right away thanks to it being mostly made up of rock. So don't let it's name fool you into fusing into Raging Tiger during this fight. Once I clean out the town I make sure to get the hidden things in town. The money stash for giving Granny the fish, the Lotto Member in the restaurant (very important to grab that Pocket Watch, and also you need to win at least one item from each lotto member for later on in the game), and I also make sure I get the only Third Key in the digging mini-game. The main reason for getting the Third Key isn't to use it, however. The main reason I get it is in case I need some quick cash in a pinch, since it sells for 15,000 without price increases. Also, Dalian is the earliest you can get the Pirate Earrings and Brigand Earrings. Both of these are really handy throughout the game as one increases how much money you get in a fight by 20% while decreasing chances to find items by the same amount, and the other works vice versa. They are kind of pricy (5000 each), but they do stack, so having 3 of them in a battle party means you get a 60% boost, thus they pay for themselves and then some very quickly. I always make it a point to grab at least one of each here (selling the Third Key I got earlier if needed). I'll be grinding the souls for my final, and favorite fusion, the Fire Fusion for the next segment.
