Prince of Persia 3D is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Mindscape and Avalanche Software, and published by Red Orb Entertainment and Mattel Interactive, released in late 1999 for Microsoft Windows, and later in 2000 for Dreamcast. It follows the story of the Prince of Persia, who is on a quest to save his lover, Princess Jasmine, from the evil Vizier Jaffar. The game is set in a fictional Persian world where the Prince must navigate through various locations, including palaces, dungeons, and ruins, to find and defeat Jaffar. Along the way, the Prince battles various enemies, solves puzzles, and acquires new weapons and abilities to aid him in his journey.
