With this video we celebrate 75 years of Volodymyr Ivasjuk, a remarkable Ukrainian composer and poet, whose life was tragically cut short in 1979 (at the age of 30). Ivasjuk created a number of iconic songs among which the famous “Chervona Ruta” and also a song called “Vodohrai” (Waterplay) - inspired by a waterfall from the Carpathian mountains of Ukraine! This song blends Ukrainian folk tradition with popular music and tells a love story with nature at its hart. www.korali.nl
