Ява 350 640 спорт как и другие модификации базировалась на классической 638- ой модели, и кардинально он от нее не отличалась, главной особенностью был новый массивный пластиковый обвес, который по задумке производителей должен был увеличить обтекаемость, тем самым повысить скоростные показатели мотоцикла. Это кстати была и проблема-мотоцикл имел большую парусность на трассе, на скоростях ближе к 100 и выше, яву буквально могло сдуть каким-нибудь большегрузом. В 70-х годах не особо задумывались об эстетичности таких мелочей, как звук, исходящий от мотора или глушителя. Однако На новых модификациях мотоциклов ЯВА, стали устанавливать спортивные глушители. Они значительно уменьшают издаваемый звук и гасят лишние вибрации.А новые Резонаторы дали ощутимый эффект, так называемый "подхват" на оборотах выше средних, безусловно нужная вещь мотоциклу такого стиля.Так же появились новые литые диски,которые были легче и имели привлекательный и современный внешний вид.
