Rally De Europe was published by Prism Arts in 2000 for the original PlayStation, as the sequel to Rally De Africa. It's a japanese exclusive, it was never released anywhere else so it's not all that well-known. I bought a copy a little while ago and found it has this really cool feature called the Memory Battle, which I'm demonstrating here. At first I drive a run myself. Then I load a run I had saved to the memory card, and do another run. I can race against those replays and they behave like ghost cars. The game disc itself has loads of replays stored as well. When viewing replays, you can change between cars and camera angles. It's a very cool feature, nowadays used commonly by games like Trackmania, but back then I don't think many games did it, if any. Rally De Europe is a pretty cool game that certainly deserves more recognition than it currently has.
