Super Wing Commander (3DO)

A very interesting version of the first Wing Commander game, released on 3DO and also on Macintosh by Origin. The graphics have all been completely redone - the faces are more detailed than before and all the backgrounds and ships are pre-rendered 3D which can appear jarring when it cuts from a shot of a close up face with bitmap to the pre-rendered stuff. The game has a nice attention to detail but it can be very unforgiving at times. If you are a fan of the series I would definitely say check this one out. Recorded from actual console.
