Grand Prix Unlimited (1992) - Every PC F1 Game

Grand Prix Unlimited, aka Road & Track Presents Grand Prix Unlimited by Accolade, 1992. This game basically runs too fast on any new computers (using DOSBox). The compromise is to slow down DOSBox, but then the framerate is terrible (maybe how it was on an original old PC!). I've also disabled skidding sounds, as they make the game run way too fast when they play (as does crashing sounds, offroad sounds, etc). 1. Race Start (Monza): 0:00 I'm not sure if it's the result of running the game too fast, but the CPU controlled cars start really slowly, before picking up pace, making it easy to crash into them! I've disabled the awful music on this clip too! 2. Spray Effects (Silverstone): 0:23 There's no spray effects from cars in the rain. The game is playing slowly as the AI was set low, so the cars, well, drive strangely! This could also be a result of running the game too fast on a modern PC, though. 3. Tunnel & View (Monaco): 0:28 The behind-car view can only be seen in this restrictive replay mode, with even worse draw-depth than when playing the game! I enabled the (terrible) music, so it's not totally silent, at least! 4. Wet Track (Spa-Francorchamps): 0:41 Grand Prix Unlimited does feature rain, which makes it even harder to drive! I'm using the lane control feature to even stay on track! 5. Pitstop (Interlagos): 0:58 For some reason, the pitlanes look like something from F-Zero! When driving in-game, you hear a sample of air guns changing wheels, but in replay, nothing! Again, I enabled the (terrible) music in this otherwise silent clip. 6. Huge Crash (Montreal): 1:09 Much like older games of the era, any accident results in a huge fireball-of-death type effect! I tried to get a cameraman view, but they only seem to exist on certain corners, ones where a large cameraman polygon model stands!
