It was only natural that an Alfred such as me should have a biased opinion towards Super Alfred Chicken, but actually this is a really fun, well designed puzzle platformer that for my money is almost on a par with the very best SNES platformers. The sequel to the Game Boy, NES, Amiga and Amiga CD32 game Alfred Chicken, Super Alfred Chicken plays very similarly to it's predecessor, but there are enough differences beyond providing 21 all new levels to distinguish it from the original. The aim of each level here is to release the large balloon at the end, rather than search the level and release all balloons as in the original. Also the boss battles in this game are platforming encounters and not shooter levels like in the original. Otherwise, all other features of the original are present and correct. I only find 1 watering can out of the 17 needed for the good ending in this playthrough.
