Culdcept Saga Episode 01 - Rilara

Welcome to my blind playthrough of Culdcept Saga. Culdcept for those who don't know, is a card game / board game. It's been compared to adding Monopoly and MTG (Magic the Gathering) into one game. Cepters (Cepters are beings that have the ability to use cards to summon creatures, cast spells) move around a board. The goal of the game is to get to or past the mana goal. Landing on a square owned by an enemy creature, you either have to fight the creature and win, or pay the toll fee. Mana is used for everything, placing a creature down in a vacant spot, placing one down on a spot an enemy controlls to invade the land/attack their creature, using spells and or items, transforming lands into different colors (e.g. turning blue into red, etc, leveling up a land? All of that costs mana. Leveling lands, leveld lands do a few things, one they give an HP stat boost to any creature that's on that territory that shares the color type, e.g. wall of ice (Water, on a Level 1 Water Land) get's an additional 10 HP. Lands can be leveled from 1 (stock) to 5, meaning if a creature gets a boost from that land, it get's + 50 HP! Another thing land levels do is raise the toll fee it costs in mana or any enemy cepter that can't defeat the creature on the land. The more land of that color/elemental type you own, the more the toll fee costs. Because of the complexity of the game, matches can be short, or long. Some fights might be boring, while some might be more exciting. You can find culdcept on many systems, such as: Sega Saturn (Japanese), Playstation (Japanese) Playstation 2 as Culdcept, Xbox 360 as Culdcept Saga, DS (japanese), 3DS (japanese), and a new 3DS version called Culdcept Revolt (japanese). The only english versions of Culdcept are, Culdcept on the Playstation 2, and Culdcept Saga on the Xbox 360. Thankfully since one probably wont do much in the games as a general rule for casual players, anyone can play the Japanese verions (like Revolt) without needing to know too much about the options. You really only need to know, Book Edit, How to either vs ai you've beaten before, or fight new ones. The main videos of this series will be no commentary, just pure gameplay. The series end obvisously with the final match. There will be other videos, most noteably Book Tool kits. What's a book tool kit? It's a video where I'll showcase a proven and or original creation book that I'll guide users on how to use. The book tool kit videos will have commentary, explaining how each and every individual card works, and how they can be used in a combo.
