▓_____________________________________________________________▓ This was a great game when it was released back in 1992, it was a strategic World War1 air war game. Microprose was the company that developed it, and published it. This was a company known for making flight simulator and strategy games. The most famous strategy game this company created was Sid Meier's Civilization, and it is a franchise that exist to this very day with their latest release being Civilization 6. Unfortunately, Microprose is a company that no longer exists today. Their legacy lives on in the Civilization franchise even if it is no longer associated with Microprose today. Ancient Art of War in the Skies was a combination of 2d arcade shooter mixed in with a isometric strategy game. It is a mix of Rail Road Tycoon and a 2d arcade airplane shooter. It was a lot of fun, and I spent hours playing it. It is very easy to learn and play. As for running this on PCEM, I have to say it ran very much like a 386 sx 16 mhzs computer. This game was a bit sluggish on my 386 sx computer, but it was playable. I could have ran it at a higher clock 386 sx, and the performance would have improved greatly.
