VGMemory Groove #45 : Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! Kira Kira☆Happy Festa! PS2 (BGM - M_005)

Sul Sul, my lovely VGM fans and welcome back to a splendid music review of Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! Kira Kira☆Happy Festa! , available on the PS2. Before we go any further, the storyline for this visual novel is quite interesting per se, relating to the future state of birth declining in 2035. In return, this causes several schools to close down due to the lack of students attending altogether. Thus, it’s up to Amamiya Manami to cheer up the poor saps who require happiness and belongingness to achieve vitality in her area. Of course, one method to solve the issue above is by organizing a summer festival for the town and her current school, Seiou Academy. With friends that stay by her side such as Etou Mei, Inamori Mika, Odori Momoha and Uehara Mutsuki, all will play an important role of teamwork to successfully create valuable memories of the festival which would prevent depression that connects back to the rate of birth decline in their country. Straight to the point, this track has shown a symbol of joy in our perspective views which proves well how committed Amamiya is to turn that frown upside down for the town and school. With an energetic techno, it represents quite closer to the true definition of the slice of life genre by which has attracted my attention on listening to this wonderful track.
