I miss those good Mac-romedia games ...see what i did there , they created a Flash like engine that was PC / Mac compatible ... on it thinkers and artists created the best of the best ... from 1990 to 1999 Macromedia Adventure games Powered by QuickTime ruled the Gaming land ... a decade of great , intelligent games ... then Unreal Engine came and derped the fuck all down ... But enough about it ... lets talk about this Art game inspired by a trilogy of Books from 1991 ... more like a Trilogy of a Interactive postcards ... the new hook in books ... like "House Of Leaves" had , with its analogue interactive story telling making you turn the book upside down or use a mirror to read some of its passages ... a trilogy of books that later was the inspiration for "The Lake House" 2006 movie with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves So now lets talk about those books that became three chapters for this game Book I - talks about an Postcard artist Griffin Moss that gets a letter from a Female person claiming she has a Telepathic link to him ... in this exchange of words he finally comes to a conclusion he is Schizophrenic and ... kills himself ... this is left to speculation (the best ending to a book) Other two books are meh , you see they where made after the first one became a best-seller... adding a romantic vibe to it Book II - Sabine arrives to this house , waiting for his arrival ... in the meantime she sends her fathers Island Encyclopaedia to publication ... and He journeys though different lands from Paris to Egypt ...to find himself ... only to find a Samurai Ghost Guardian ... that helps his take the journey to Sabin's Home Island ... that was ended short by a near death experience when he nearly drowns... awoken in a hospital , he gathered his courage to go home to see her ... only to find out ... no one lived there , and the place was left untouched... Book III - People around Griffin Moss think he is crazy ,when he questions others about Sabine ... they want him to be send to a loony bin ...Sabine has problems of her own , when a Third party threatens her family, wants her ... her letters ... and her abilities ... to experiment on her ... for the good of mankind ... book ends with two post cards ... one about a Gate in Alexandria , Egypth that could brake the barrier around them ... the last one was a Postcard made by Griffin and a Stamp by ... now Sabine Moss , depicting a Child face ... with a message to a doctor about a drug and then in 2016 ...
