King's Quest II: Romancing The Throne vs. Romancing the Stones

This video shows a short comparison of a scene from the 1985 original and the 2002 remake by AGDInteractive. This video was shown in a lecture about fan-made adventure games I gave at Fan.Con 2010, an Israeli Science Fiction and Fantasy convention. What we can see here is how AGDInteractive took the basic premise of the game and fleshed out a storyline. This could not have been done back at 1985 due to technological limitations, and games with this kind of presentation appeared only later in the early 90s.
