Mission to Near-Earth Object (NEO) 1999 AO10 in 2025/2026

The 3-month outbound leg of a notional human mission to NEO 1999 AO10 is shown from a variety of perspectives using open-source planetarium software named Celestia. Only 3% of NEOs larger than 50 m in diameter are thought to be known in 2010. The video ends with approach to within 500 m of 1999 AO10 at 10 m/s, but its true appearance is unknown.
