Hello and welcome to another PlayStation 3 exclusive sneak peek. This time I take a look at a PSN title called Pixel Junk Eden. Pixel Junk Eden has no real storyline as it is just a puzzle type game. Your task is to use a grimp and collect pollen from destroyed plants to make your garden grow. But watch out, there are bad guys lurking around that can hinder your journey so be careful. The graphics are kind of simplistic, as you can see in the video. Yet it has a redeeming quality to it, and it is fun to watch things grow in front of your eyes. Not the best graphics in the world but decent enough to keep interest in the game. It is very unique. The music in this game is really good IMO. It has quite a bit of completely original music that has a very catchy beat and is overall done very well. I like the music in this game. The sound effects are kind of minimal, but effective for this game. For the most part you'll hear jumping/landing sounds and sounds of collecting pollen and bad "things" dying etc... Not much else. Typical for a puzzle type of game. The controls are accurate but minimal. You can point in the direction you want to jump, and you can swing from a line to collect pollen. You can also do a spinning attack, but not much else. I guess that's all this game needed. Bottom Line: Anyone with a pulse, and a desire to play fun games should find this game addictive and enjoyable. Pixel Junk Eden is only $9.99 from the PSN and is well worth the price of admission. After you get tired of the stages the game offers there is always the addon stages as well to keep your interest. The game is fun, addictive, and just plain neat. I definitely recommend it. This game is in 1080p native, has Dual Shock 3 Rumble support, Trophy support, Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound quality, and Custom Soundtracks support.
