Зальцбург – город в Австрии близ границы с Германией, окруженный Восточными Альпами. Река Зальцах делит Зальцбург на два района – левобережный пешеходный Старый город, который славится зданиями, возведенными в Средние века и в эпоху барокко, и правобережный Новый город, построенный в XIX веке. В Старом городе находится дом, в котором родился знаменитый композитор Вольфганг Амадей Моцарт. Сейчас там открыт музей и туристы могут увидеть инструменты, на которых Моцарт играл в детстве. Salzburg is a city in Austria near the border with Germany, surrounded by the Eastern Alps. The Salzach River divides Salzburg into two districts - the left-bank pedestrian Old Town, which is famous for buildings erected in the Middle Ages and the Baroque era, and the right-bank New Town, built in the 19th century. In the Old Town there is the house where the famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born. Now a museum is open there and tourists can see the instruments that Mozart played as a child.
