NHL 97 (SNES)

New teams, updated rosters, but very much the same game as last year: Welcome to NHL 97. No 2 Unlimited this time so I guess the license was too expensive so we are greeted with a more generic menu music. Not bad just nothing standout about it. As previously stated though its interesting to see how far back the EA "copy pasta" strategy for sports games goes. If there is a difference between 96/97 besides the rosters and available teams I couldn't tell you what it is. The menus are even exactly the same and usually those change at least a little but not here. Even still solid game and easy to jump into, I just wish I was better at it. I acknowledge its a skill issue but I cant help but feel like I would enjoy it just a bit more if I didn't feel quite so helpless out there on the ice. #nhl #snes #nintendo
