James Donnellan - F-22 Lightning II Menu

This is the title track for Novalogic's F-22 Lightning II game from 1996. It's interesting in that the game used dynamic MIDI soundtrack. MIDI files were played according to the player/game's state, combat, peace, taxiing on the runway, etc. This is straight MIDI playback with a Solar Soundfont in Coolsoft Virtual MIDI Synth based on BASSMIDI. This isn't a mix, this is just how the file plays live when the game runs in DOSBox (as long as the game supports General MIDI output it can be routed to any Windows MIDI device including the soft synth).
