Rhythm Core Alpha Nintendo DSi music synth / sequencer demonstration at Pasadena Rock n' Comic Con
This is a demonstration of Nintendo DSi sequencer / synthesizer "Rhythm Core Alpha" at Pasadena Rock 'n Comic Con. Product creator Tim Trzepacz shows how to create a drum loop, add a bassline and other instruments, and then perform solos that automatically stay in tune using the automatic key / scale changing system. Rhythm Core Alpha is an advanced music creation system for the Nintendo DSi series game consoles. It allows you to make sequences with 12 drum tracks using a selection of 122 different drum sounds, 8 instrument tracks from a set of 166 instrument sounds in a MIDI-style piano-roll sequencer. It also has a unique solo mode that lets you play along using the stylus. You can change the key and scale of your loops on the fly using the Nintendo's +Control Pad. Patterns of up to 1000 steps can be built out of up to 100 loops that you create yourself.
