Toshinden Remix [Saturn] - play as Cupido

This is a play-through using Cupido in the Saturn game Battle Arena Toshinden Remix. Read on below for more information... Cupido is the true final boss of this game in Story Mode, and is a hidden final boss in 1P Game mode. She is an unlockable playable character. ===== HOW TO SELECT CUPIDO ===== There are 2 methods to unlock her, as follows: FIRST METHOD 1) Play through and complete Story Mode without using any continues. This should unlock Gaia, Sho and Cupido. 2) On the character select screen, highlight Sho, hold Up and press any button to select Cupido. SECOND METHOD 1) On the main title screen where it says 'Press Start Button', input the following: Up, Down, X, B, A, Y, C, Z, START If you've done it correctly, you'll hear a voice when you press Start. This also unlocks Gaia and Sho as well. 2) On the character select screen, highlight Sho, hold Up and press any button to select Cupido. ===== CUPIDO MOVES ===== Key: WS = Weak Slash; HS = Hard Slash; HK = Heavy Kick; S = any Slash; K = any Kick SPECIAL MOVES Gale Sh00ter Ground: QCB + K Gale Sh00ter Air: during jump, QCB + K Aegis Wall: DF + WS + HS Cannon Slash: DP + S DESPERATION MOVE (requires flashing lifebar) Mirage Saber: U, UB, B, F + HK SECRET MOVE Phantom Blade: QCB, F, DF, D + WS + HS ===== ABOUT CUPIDO ===== She is an elite member of the Himitsu Kessha organization, and is one of Master's bodyguards. She seems to have an interest in saving Uranus, warning others of a dark future involving her. As a cryptic seer, she is highly aware of many characters' pasts and personal affairs and offers them cryptic advice upon defeat. In the "sequel" Saturn game Toshinden URA, Cupido is revealed to be the younger sister of Ripper (a playable character in URA). She is also known to have had a relationship with Sho, in which they beared a child, Subaru (who appears in Toshinden 4). ===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ===== ---- She appears exclusively in Battle Arena Toshinden Remix for the Saturn console. ---- Despite being unlocked, she does not have a slot icon on the character select screen. She is selected through placing the cursor on Sho and inputting a special command as mentioned earlier. ---- On the character select screen, when selected, her image portrait appears in black and white colour. There is also no "flame" animation on it. ---- She cannot be selected in Story Mode. ---- Her throw is similar to Mondo's one, but it is not the same. ---- The Japanese version of this game is known as Toshinden S. ===== ABOUT TOSHINDEN REMIX ===== This is basically an enhanced version of the original Battle Arena Toshinden made specially for the Sega Saturn. It is called Toshinden S in Japan. The most significant additions of Remix are: a new character named Cupido, who acts as a final boss and hidden playable character; and also a decent Story Mode for each of the regular characters which feature voice acting and specific character image portraits made just for it. This mode effectively allows you to get a good insight into the character's story backgrounds, their relationships and interactions with the other characters, and the reasons on why they had entered into the tournament.
