F1 World Grand Prix 2 was released in 2000 for the Sega Dreamcast and was based on the 1999 F1 season. F1 Career Challenge was released for the Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2 in 2003 and allows the player to choose from four full F1 seasons (99 - 02). There was a PC release with a similar title called F1 Challenge '99-'02, which was made by Image Space Incorporated. This game is infinitely superior to the console releases. The 1999 F1 season was won by Mika Häkkinen driving the Adrian Newey designed McLaren MP4/14. Gameplay is captured on PC at each games native resolution using software emulation.
