Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth: Dream Arena Stage 15 (Kuon and Mikazuchi only)
Dream Arena Stage 15: Absolution Victory: Defeat all enemies Defeat: All allies defeated Initially the akuruturuka will be spaced out on separate parts of the map bordered by water and Woshis will not do anything. The akuruturuka won't do anything either until you approach them. The challenge comes in after defeating one akuruturuka, because Woshis will begin getting turns and he will inflict venom and faint on all your units. The other akuruturuka will also begin moving towards you. It is best to focus on one akuruturuka at a time so the venom/faint does not interfere with fighting another akuruturuka. After defeating another akuruturuka, Woshis will do different effects based on who the 2 remaining akuruturuka are: Inflict confusion on all your units if Oshtor is present Heal all remaining akuruturuka and boost their zeal if Vurai is present Summon 2 Tatariflambe if Mikazuchi is present Reduce max HP of all your units if Raiko is present Of these effects, Vurai's is the most dangerous because it can potentially put multiple akuruturuka in overzeal at once which is a major problem. Mikazuchi's is the least threatening if you avoid the upper section of the map (where Woshis is) because the Tatariflambe cannot leave that section. It is best to avoid that section of the map because the Tatariflambe can one-shot your units and Woshis can attack you there with a move that drains zeal so he can overzeal himself potentially. Oshtor's effect can either be a non-issue or bad if you have Clear Mind codices on your units to protect from confusion. The best order to defeat them if you lack Clear Mind codices is Oshtor and Vurai for the first two kills (up to you on who to take out first). Raiko and Mikazuchi can be killed in either order afterward so pick whoever you want to target. Woshis does not need to be defeated as the battle will end after the 4 akuruturuka fall. If you do have the codices, you can save Oshtor for later and defeat Raiko or Mikazuchi early (preferably Raiko to avoid Woshis' effect of reducing max HP). Either way, do not let Vurai remain on the field for the first 2 kills because of Woshis' effect. Kuon can handle Oshtor and Vurai by herself because of her elemental faithshift ability and her illumination of heaven and earth and resonance of heaven and earth abilities making her immune to damage from those two while reflecting it back at them (Water for Oshtor, Fire for Vurai). She can't do this against Raiko or Mikazuchi though, because Raiko is dark element (which Kuon can't shift to) and Mikazuchi has an attack that causes unconscious which negates her absorb and reflect abilities. That's where your unit Mikazuchi comes in (ironic that you can use him in this fight). Mikazuchi should have Nature's Union and Serenity II equipped so he always gets 50 zeal after a final strike because his 4-hit action chain gets him enough for overzeal and his SPD is fast enough to get another turn. He can solo Raiko without him even getting a turn if you do his 4-hit chain, get another turn via overzeal then repeat the process after a final strike. For the akuruturuka Mikazuchi, have both of them attack it together with Co-op chains to avoid the enemy's defensive skills and counterattack. Try to make sure you're outside Woshis' attack range or that you're fast enough to defeat akuruturuka Mikazuchi before Woshis gets a turn.
