Fire Hawk: Thexder - The Second Contact - Mission 1

This clip is the first mission of Fire Hawk: Thexder - The Second Contact (Or Thexder 2, as it's called more often). It's a game first released on MSX in 1989, and for DOS in 1990. It's fairly unknown as even GameFAQs seems to be completely void of information regarding the game. The story doesn't really get clear while playing it, but if you have the patience to read each of those slow scrolling texts, you soon find out you are on a mission to stop an asteroid hitting the Earth. Of course it wouldn't be a real asteroid without some odd mechanical things out there to get you. There are multiple different special weapons you can pick up and use, such as Stoppers, Flashers, Missiles, ECMs, Energy Tanks, Bombs, etc. This video was captured with DosBox 0.72.
