Sensible Soccer '98 :: International Challenge

On both the World Cup Edition and European Club Edition of Sensible Soccer '98 you can take Sensible FC, a team made up of Sensible Software employees and past games to glory against national teams from around the globe. You begin against lower ranked sides and as you progress go on to play the likes of Mexico, Italy and Brazil in your quest for glory. The European Club Edition also offered a Club Challenge in the same format, starting against lower ranked teams before facing the giants of European club football. The tournament is 20 rounds and you can't save your progress, so make sure you've cleared plenty of time if you plan to give this a go. You can't alter your line-up or tactics pre-match but one positive is that injuries and suspensions don't carry over from game to game, so you never lose players to long-term injuries or bans.
