In this Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned playthrough, we once again star as Gabriel Knight, a Schattenjäger - a group of individuals whose mission is to battle paranormal monsters. Gabriel and his assistant/maybe love interest Grace Nakimura who are hired by Prince James, a descendant of the House of Stuart, the exiled monarchs of Scotland. Prince James tasks Gabriel with protecting his son who he believes is the target of vampire-like creatures known as the Night Visitors. The creatures use magic to paralyze Gabriel and kidnap the child in the middle of the night. The next morning, Gabriel begins work on solving the mystery involving this kidnapping and how it relates to vampires, the Holy Grail, and Jesus himself!
