Dillon's Rolling Western : The Last Ranger - Credits and other stuff
Read the video info for more info! The other stuff being 2 ways of failing the final boss and previewing the Jukebox. 0:04 - Getting Russ to the village without switching the tracks 0:26 - Wheelgrock destroying the village, which you don't truly see but it's not hard to imagine exactly what it did....it rolled with it. This occurs if you fail to defeat the Wheelgrock after your final chance or if the Wheelgrock makes it to the village without you using the Bow of Armedo. --------------------------------------------------------------------- For the following scene, Professor Packa's and Cappy's dialogue changes depending on whether or not you used the final help from the rangers. 0:47 and 3:04 - If the rangers came in to help stop the Wheelgrock, it's implied that they died within the explosion as their bodies were never recovered sad face 4:46 - However, if you defeated the Wheelgrock before it even got close to the village (slightly difficult since the damn thing throws everything in the kitchen sink to keep you from hitting it), Cappy mentions that they left after you defeated the massive grock. So that's more of a reason to stop the grock early IF you like the other rangers. 7:22 - This scene, as well as the credits, are the same whether or not you used the final help when fighting the Wheelgrock. Also at 8:33, Madame Elizabeth is a punk. Besides that everyone asks Dillon and Russ what they plan on doing and if they'll come back. 10:06 ~ 12:33 - Credits 13:20 - Jukebox, which can be accessed through the file select. Anyway that's it for The Last Ranger, personally, I think it's a major improvement over the first (one being an unlockable sound test, it's always nice when a game has this, I'M LOOKING AT YOU GAMEFREAK!) As well as having a MUCH better framerate, the first game didn't have a very stable framerate while on the field, though it did during a fight. I find it much easier to manage money even if you start with a low amount, though if you fail on the first day of any village, I believe it says you can start with a higher amount, starting with a low amount of money was a complaint of many people. Enemy variety could be better, which actually there are more enemies....in the treasure hunts. There's one grock that has the features of a bull and one with a gunslinger hat...I kid you not - Anyway I hoped those that enjoyed these several videos of the rolling western/the last ranger did enjoy them. Recording them was fun even if it was a few and I could've gotten more. The only thing I'm really missing is sal's hut in both games which I will get later. For now, peace and such.
