A great treasure hunter is on the move to get the finest treasure in a secret ancient temple. But he will need to move fast or else the temple will crumble here in Duke Dashington - Gentleman and Scholar! Your main mission in this pixel art game is to control your character Duke Dashington and get to next area. There is a timer for each area and you must move quickly. If the timer reaches zero, the temple will crumble and you will need to start again. New types of temples will be unlocked once you cleared all the levels on the previous stage. Overview Duke Dashington is a fun filled and fast paced adventure where you need to explore a temple...a crumbling temple to be precise and retreive the treasure that lies within before it collapses and bury you with rubles, you will take control of Duke Dashington, an adventurer scholar, and you'll need to literally dash your way through the levels as the character can't walk really, only dash until he hits a wall or other objects, there are 4 beautifully designed exotic locations in the game that you need to explore, each one of them containing 30 levels each for a total of 120 challenging levels, there is also a time to beat in all of the levels and if you don't reach the checkpoint within the allotted time, your character dies and you go back to the level start, it is going to be a challenge indeed, there are also a lot of obstacles scattered throughout the levels, there are gaps, spikes, moving platforms, crumbling floors, even lava pits and many more, so come on and join Duke Dashington in this wonderful fast paced adventure to retrieve hidden treasures here in Duke Dashington. Graphics and Sound Duke Dashington has retro styled graphics, the design of the game looks just like the games of the 90s, the character design is quite pretty too with its pixel art looks and all, the environments are also quite pretty for a retro styled game, it is made up of blocks...and more blocks actually, but they really look rather pretty really, the colors are great by the way, everything looks vivid and sharp from the characters to the different environments presented in the game, the animations are quite okay too, the movements are smooth enough to make the game really quite fun to play, the music and sounds are great by the way, it sounds really nice for a retro styled game, the in game music is quite cool to the ears and not too loud and so are the sound effects presented in the game, it's quite varied really and certainly adds up to the fun factor when playing, special effects are simple, quite basic really but still okay as the game is presented in a classic style and doesn't really need those flashy visuals that you usually see in most games today, overall, the retro appeal of the game is quite high, making it look rather pretty. Gameplay Duke Dashington is a fast paced platform based adventure game as mentioned earlier, you will be exploring different temples with a lot of obstacles and traps in them, the game totals 120 levels, they are really short and you only have a few seconds to finish them, once you get to the exit within the time limit, you get to open the next one, the controls in the game are fairly simple and every easy to use, you only need to use the arrow keys or the WASD keys to play the game to the end, very simple indeed, and nice for all players of all ages. Features Duke Dashington features very simple but beautifully designed retro graphics, you get to control a character that "dashes", there are 4 exotic locations that you can explore, with a total of 120 fast paced and challenging levels, and the game features very simple controls for everyone to enjoy. Conclusion Duke Dashington is quite but also quite challenging, my character died so many times when I played the game, good thing you are given infinite lives, you only need to restart at the last checkpoint every time you die, try it, this is fun. ----- Mobile games playlist:
