Малышка гориллы — Джамила с остальным отрядом #горилл
In this heartwarming 14-minute video from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, baby gorilla Jameela rides on the shoulders of her incredible foster mom, Fredrika—and it’s just the beginning. This footage also features the full gorilla troop, including young Kunda and the playful Kayembe! Jameela, now a little over 4 months old, is growing stronger every day under Freddy’s loving care. Freddy has raised many gorillas in her lifetime, and she’s clearly forming a special bond with her newest little one. It’s touching to watch her carry Jameela high on her back, giving the baby a safe and elevated view of her world. You’ll also enjoy seeing Kayembe—Cleveland’s first-ever baby gorilla—and Kunda, who’s just under 2 years old, playing and exploring their environment. This video captures the daily rhythms of a well-bonded gorilla family: resting, grooming, playing, and nurturing the youngest members. 🦍💚 If you love baby gorillas, gentle foster moms, and close-up moments with an entire troop, this is a must-watch. 💬 Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe to Larry’s Animal Safari to follow Jameela’s incredible journey and meet other amazing animals each week! _________________________________ Text details from video: Mokolo is 36 years old. Jameela weighed 3.1 pounds at birth, delivered early via c-section. Jameela received 24 hour care from the dedicated keepers at the Fort Worth Zoo. Before leaving Fort Worth she weighed more than 5 pounds. Today, Jameela nurses from Freddy and receives bottles from zoo staff in Cleveland. Now Kunda...she gets all her nourishment from Kebi alone. Kebi does not offer the baby to the keepers, like Freddy will do with her foster babies. Keepers do offer Kebi plenty of extra food to keep her healthy and happy. Kunda is really starting to climb now. Kayembe is 2-1/2 years old. Kebi is is 33 years old. Tusa is 34 and the most independent gorilla in the troop. Nneka - she gave birth to Kayembe about 6 weeks early. But, didn't show proper maternal care for Kayembe. It was Freddy who walked over and picked up Kayembe. Freddy has cared for Kayembe ever since. Perhaps now, Nneka can reconnect with Kayembe. I don't usually see these two (Nneka and Kayembe) together, I hope this continues.
